Job Description

Business Development ManagerField Based Red Dot Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a leading Telecommunications company based in Salford. Due to continued growth, they are currently looking for experienced Field based Business Development Managers to join the team.As a Business Development Manager, youll be a fundamental part of our clients continued growth. You will be working with major accounts (businesses over 500 employees) and you will be responsible for bringing in new business.The Business Development Manager role: Youll be expected to source and build relationships with large business accounts. You will be speaking with C-level people so will need to feel comfortable and have experience in this field.This is a field-based role so we are looking for people with either field sales experience or strong account management/sales experience within the Telecoms sector.Daily duties as a Field Sales Account Manager include:

  • Retain and maximise revenues from a defined customer base through the selling of Our clients converged voice, data, infrastructure, and mobile products into the corporate arena.
  • Maximise revenues from new business acquisition (new logo) through the selling of Our clients converged voice, data, infrastructure, and mobile products into the corporate arena.
  • Consistently maintain account and opportunity development and campaign plans
  • Instigate, develop, and maintain a robust framework of vital internal relationships
  • Consistently achieve/overachieve sales acquisition targets
The successful Field Sales Account Manager will have:
  • Considerable business development experience, working with high revenue accounts (Essential)
  • Technical knowledge including SD-Wan, UC and WiFi (Essential)
  • Telecoms industry experience (Essential)
  • Strong commercial acumen to interpret financial models and to help articulate and shape customer propositions that are beneficial to both the client and the customer
  • A proven ability to lead and motivate a virtual team
  • Ability to interact and influence at all levels specifically C-Level relationships
