Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be exclusively partnering with one of the UKs leading provider of industrial products in their sector for the appointment of a Health and Safety Manager. This Health and Safety Manager is a key hire which will play a pivotal role in ensuring that health and safety are a priority across a couple of small manufacturing sites with a large team of field based engineers.This role is based working from home but the client would like someone located in either Yorkshire & the Humber, Lincolnshire or the North Midlands to visit the main sites. The business are a c£15mil turnover business who take H&S very importantly & have a top down driven safety culture. This role is a standalone position that will be reporting directly into the Managing Director to drive the strategy and operationally implementimprovements.Health and Safety Manager - Duties and Responsibilities:*Responsible for Health and Safety across all sites *Drive a safety focussed culture striving to continually improve and implement best practice*Support and promote all aspects of the companys vision, health and wellbeing and be the interface with HR *Provide in-depth knowledge to ensure manufacturing facilities maintain /obtain relevant certification and accreditation *Coach, mentor and train individuals to take ownership and accountability*Drive strategic H&S changes *Monitor and analyse H&S risk and hazards in the workplace *Communicate with stakeholders at all levelsThe successful candidate will have the following background:*NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent*Experience managing a team of individuals working remotely *Strong communicator who loves to take ownership and accountability of driving changes*Experienced leader with the ability to build strong relationships and support the Senior Leadership Team, with an appreciation for HR and the benefits of strong internal relationshipsElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with Senior HSE, Quality, Engineering, Technical and Operational positions.
