Leading and delivering the intermediary and direct Mortgage sales and distribution strategy for one of the UK’s longest-established Building Societies.About the role.This role requires you to be proactive, determined, and self-motivated so that sales objectives and targets are achieved in a compliant manner.Your objective is to build the mortgage portfolio in line with corporate objectives. You will achieve this by proactively building and maintaining relationships with brokers and mortgage clubs, but also by reviewing the market to recommend innovative newproducts, criteria and marketing.You will be leading and delivering the intermediary and direct mortgage sales strategy. A significant percentage of marketing resource is allocated to support your activity.This is a senior leadership role within the organisation reporting to the CEO. It will see you chair meetings with directors and key executive members and regularly present to the Board.This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to regularly visit and attend meetings at the offices in East Yorkshire whilst also travelling nationally creating new business.About the CompanyOur client is one of the UK’s longest-established Building societies. In terms of mortgages, it’s focus is on customers that may not fit the standard lending criteria offered by the larger banks. Supported by a very experienced manual underwriting team,they can assess customers individually.
