Marks Sattin are delighted to be working in partnership with a rapidly expanding PLC to recruit a Head of Tax.This is a newly created position reporting to the FD that will involve determining the entire tax strategy for the business. The Head of Tax will be responsible for optimising tax efficiency of the Groups M&A activities; overseeing compliance, ensuring all subsidiaries are compliant within their respective territories; developing the Groups taxation policies and procedures; managing external stakeholders i.e. tax advisors and government tax authorities; leading on tax related projects; advising on tax issues related to Brexit.The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Tax Adviser with breadth of both direct and indirect tax expertise and a proven track record of success in senior in-house tax position.
