Im currently recruiting for an Estimator based within a 50 mile radius to Doncaster, working for a civil engineering company for corporate clients. This is a permanent role, paying up to 50K, with a car allowance.The Estimator will support the northern estimating team to provide a professional estimating service. Key responsibilities include but not limited to:· Analyse tender documentation and capture clients requirements· Attend site visits as well as pre and post tender meetings· Support the operational team with tender/contract price analysis· Analyse tender documentation and capture clients requirements· Prepare material and sub-contractor enquiry documents· Assess individual rates and prices· Produce detailed drawings using in-house software· Produce accurate and competitive commercial submissions· Pricing accurate quotations· Clear knowledge of costing traditional and design and build contractsCandidate Requirements· Estimating experience in the surfacing/civils industry or similar.· Current and valid UK Driving Licence· Prepared to travel· Knowledge of building material components· Good negotiation, influencing and communication skills· Strong analytical and reasoning abilities· Good organisational skills and attention to detailBenefits include: career progression, option for private medical care scheme and 25 days annual leave - please get in touch ASAP for more info!
