Job Description

Emergency Care, Nurse Practitioners & Advanced Nurse PractitionersAre you looking to join a Leading Out of Hours Healthcare Provider in order to enhance your Clinical skillsDo you enjoy working in a fast paced clinical environmentHours: Zero Hour contracts availableSalary: Salary range according to qualifications & skill setLocation: Based at Scarborough, Selby, York & Malton HospitalsAbout the role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated Nurse Practitioners L1 2 & 3, Advanced Nurse Practitioners & Emergency Care Practitioners to provide high quality and timely patient centred care across Scarborough, Selby, York & Malton Hospitals.As part of your role you will undertake consultations with patients; taking comprehensive patient history, carrying out physical examinations & using your expert knowledge and clinical judgement to identify potential diagnosis. You will ensure that all treatment & care provided is based on best practice and assist in Clinical Audits and the monitoring of service and standards.Duties within the role:

  • Undertake consultations with a range of patients as an autonomous practitioner taking a history, carrying out physical examination, and use clinical knowledge and judgement to identify potential diagnosis.
  • Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to provide competent care to meet the health and social care needs of patients.
  • Ensure all treatment provided are based on evidence and best practice.
  • Assist in clinical audit and the setting and monitoring of service standards.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of patient consultations using appropriate software.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior colleagues.
  • What we are looking for:Successful candidates will be NMC or HCPC Registered, have an excellent and effective communication style, proven clinical skills, be a problem solver and be self-motivated.
