Job Description

  • Copywriter- Freelance communications, publications, PR and copywriter
  • 3-6 + Month Contract
  • Leeds or Newcastle Public Sector Hybrid Working
  • £Competitive Day Rate (Circa £30,000+)
Client DetailsA large public sector organisationDescriptionAs an experienced copy-writer you will be able to write both on-line and offline copy across various formats and channels. You will have strong attention to detail and be creative in suggestions you make.Candidate Profile
  • You will have substantial experience in copy-writing (Ideally B2B environment).
  • You will have strong attention to detail, be creative in your approach and have the ability to adapt communications for different audiences using different formats.
  • You will have an understanding of how to use narrative to build a new brand.
  • You will need to be a creative thinker, with the ability to assimilate and analyse complex information and find creative and innovative solutions to support business objectives.
  • Have the ability to work at pace, managing competing deadlines and delivering high quality outputs in ambiguous environments and political situations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • to co-ordinate and influence diverse groups of colleagues from different backgrounds, adapting your style as appropriate and valuing everybody as an individual.
ProfileAs an experienced copy writer- You will be strong across all channels, including producing publications, documents for a varied audience (both on-line and offline)
  • As an experienced copywriter you will help to develop a clear brand narrative that explains our broader purpose, mission, and objectives of the organisation.
  • Develop writing about the agency guidance to complement the brand guidelines.
  • Help develop aligned messages and presentation templates for key audiences, such as local authorities and 3rd party agencies.
  • Support various teams across marketing, brand, and communications in developing fresh collateral for different audiences to support business development teams to promote a suite of products.
Job Offer£Competitive day ratePlease note this is a 3-month contract (possible extension) You must be able to start within 1-2 weeks. The role is home/ hybrid with 1-2 days per week approx. in the office with Leeds or NewcastleInterviews will take place W/C 8th August please apply ASAP as this is an urgent role
