Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Negligence Fee EarnerLocation: Yorkshire Region (includes Leeds, York, Sheffield)Salary: Up to £45,000 DOEWorking Arrangements: Full Time - Hybrid/Flexible Working (can consider part-time)About Us:A Legal 500 leading law firm committed to providing exceptional legal services across a range of practice areas. With a strong focus on client care and a reputation for achieving successful outcomes, we take pride in our dedicated team of legal professionals.Position Overview:We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Clinical Negligence fee earners to join our expanding department across multiple offices in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will join our dynamic Clinical Negligence team, contributing to the firms continuedsuccess in representing clients who have suffered harm due to medical negligence. This position is open to both claimant and defendant candidates.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting a Senior Solicitor on their caseload of high value/complex clinical negligence matters from instruction to trial/settlement
  • Handling own caseload of clinical negligence matters
  • Conduct detailed investigations, legal research, and analysis of medical records.
  • Engage in negotiation and settlement discussions with opposing parties.
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients during legal proceedings.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring the highest standards of client care.
Requirements:
  • 1 years minimum experience either heavily assisting or handling a caseload of Clinical Negligence matters
  • QUALIFICATIONS ARE NOT ESSENTIAL - accepting applications from Qualified Solicitors and Paralegals
  • Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law and relevant legal procedures.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Proven experience managing a caseload with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
