Job Description

Our Client is a fast growing speciality distributor of raw materials to the UK Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients Manufacturing IndustryThey are now seeking a Business Manager / Technical Sales Manager - Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients for their Personal Care Division. This position will be home based and location within the UK is flexible. The geographical territory is the UK and Ireland. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager - Personal CareKey ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit with associated sales. Develop long term business relationships with Key Customers. Create unique and compelling sales propositions. Develop Supplier relationships to ensure a long term positive contribution to the company.Customer Sales

  • Customer Visits
  • Develop Key Accounts
  • Develop key markets for Personal Care and Cosmetic Ingredients
  • Add Sales information to CRM software
  • Manufacturer Relationships
  • Manufacturers of all key product groups
  • Obtain marketing information
  • Ensure adequate UK stock
  • Communicate with Manufacturers (reports, sales figures, market information, product development)
  • Cultivate new Manufacturers / Suppliers
  • Qualifications and Experience
  • Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline (essential)
  • You will ideally be a seasoned technical sales and business development person recognised in and knowledgeable of the UK markets and UK companies for Personal Care & Cosmetic Ingredients
  • Able to develop a Customers’ product formulation (formulation / NPD background)
  • Business acumen to attract and develop new Manufacturers / Suppliers
  • Excellent communicator at all levels

  • Determination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, loyalty.
