Avanti is working with a company that is revolutionising the IP services industry and is now recruiting for a very strong Lead Engineer. This role would preferably be hybrid from their Birmingham office but they are open to fully remote working for the rightperson.The company is very profitable and is looking to expand the team, firstly taking on a lead and then building the team under you. On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself working on really complex design patterns, working within a fully cloud and distributedmicroservices environment. This will be a hands-on position with the opportunity to lead a team once built out and progression routes will be exponential. You will be involved in building out the tech suite and you will competing with Billion-pound organisations.If you have been hands-on and instrumental to 1 or 2 start-ups, whether they have failed or been successful would be beneficial to them.They are looking for someone who wants to be part of something new and is looking for the big one of their career which could earn them a big exit, working on a highly disruptive tech product.Must have skills: - Strong hands-on development - Built or part of the design/architecture of a vast Serverless system (Kinesis / DynamoDB / Lambda / SQS / SNS)- Event-Driven Microservices Architecture / Even-Driven Paradigms - Strong experience with Eventual Consistency - Distributed systemsDesirable:- Previous experience within the IP services industry- Start-up experienceSalary & Benefits: - Salary is very flexible for the right person, they will pay up to £200,000 for the right candidate- Stock options - Unlimited holiday - Healthcare through BUPA + FamilyIf you work hybrid from the office you will also benefit from an onsite hairdresser and Michelin star food.Interview process: 2-stage interview process, the CEO will be very flexible to interview to speed up processes.
