Job Description

  • Ensure that the manufacturing sites operate within the local legislation and the group policy for best practices with regard to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Health & Safety Manager responsibilities include -
  • Ensure that existing and all new installations are completed in accordance with the relevant environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Drive sustainability improvement in relation to Health, Safety, and Environment.
  • Ensure that relevant risk assessments and training are delivered across the plant.
  • Manage internal audits and external audits, ensuring that containment, root cause, and countermeasures are implemented.
  • Ensure that all system changes and training programmes are documented correctly.
  • Investigating and documenting incidents and accidents, ensuring that the right actions are implemented to reduce this count.
  • Design and deliver health, safety, and environmental training courses.
Desirable skills and experience -
  • Systems experience - ISO 14001, 45001, 50001
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent.
