Would you like to be part of a Trust that value, recognise and celebrate staff members Who work as a team to provide a high-level service If yes, Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh NHS Trust is the place for you.We have placement opportunity available for a temporaryDomestic Assistant role at both Royal Albert Edward Infirmary / Wrightington HospitalDepartment: Domestic departmentLocation: Wigan, WN6 9EPPay: £9.21 per hour plus accrued holiday payThe Domestic Assistant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high standards of cleaning within both clinical and non-clinical areas.You will be involve in cleaning and other domestics duties in all parts of the hospitals, clinics, using standard methods equipment and materials.This is a Part Time role 20 Hours Per Week (we can accept more or less hour).You will need to be available for an immediate start. Duration of the role 3 months with potential to be extended, you need to be flexible over a 7-day period, Monday - Sunday.Do you have the following skills

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high standards of cleaning within both clinical and non-clinical areas
To clean specific areas in line with Trust policy and national cleaning standards
To provide a cleaning service in accordance with approved methods, standards and frequencies
To provide support to terminal cleans/infection cleans ensuring conversance with infection control & procedures in respect of all cleaning duties
The removal and cleaning up of uncontained body fluid spillages in line with Trust policy and national cleaning standards
To use cleaning equipment, machinery and cleaning materials once trained and ability to spot defects with machinery and report to Supervisor.
Where required undertake Bioquell Q50- HPV decontamination duties and be fully compliant with all the methods and responsibilities of using this system
To adopt a flexible approach when undertaking domestic duties
Participate in linen counts
