They take pride in creating high quality goods delivered by a motivated and driven team.DescriptionAs a Senior Credit Controller, you will be supporting the Financial Controller overseeing a team of two sales ledgers.The key responsibilities will include:

Allocate incoming cash to corresponding invoices.
Follow up on overdue invoices and actively pursue payment from customers.
Identify and escalate slow or late payments, collaborating with the Financial Controller and commercial team to facilitate payment.
Create new customer accounts and conduct credit checks, suggesting appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
Generate weekly reports for credit control meetings with the commercial team and CFO.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily invoicing.
Implement price changes accurately as required by the business.
Supervise the performance and task assignment of the sales ledger team.

ProfileThe successful candidate will:

Experienced in managing overdue client/customer accounts.
Confident in conducting difficult conversations.
Demonstrates outstanding telephone manner and strong communication skills.
Maintains a high level of customer service while being direct and honest.
Efficiently manages a high volume of work in a target-driven environment.
Possesses extensive customer service and process improvement experience.
Adaptable and flexible approach to tasks, adept at prioritising workloads.
Proficient in using Sage/accountancy software.
Comfortable in extracting data from Excel.
