Inside Sales and Contracts £35-42 WV5 Perm 9-5 Monday to Thursday 9-4.30 Friday As part of the Customer Service Team, you will be at the frontline of the business. Ultimately, your success will rest upon the delivery of the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction for the whole customer base. This role requires a candidate who is self-motivated and solution orientated with excellent communication skills both internally and externally across a range of stakeholders; expertise in preparing and executing winning proposals with sound experience of customerdialogue / negotiation in order to secure new sales and to thereafter maximise profitability through change management on existing contracts. An understanding and experience of contracting rules. Management of all Commercial and Contractual aspects of allocated opportunities. Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver profitable commercial solutions ensuring that commercial risks are highlightedand mitigated and required governance is followed. Responsible for management of the commercial aspects of the acquire business / bidding process to establish the nature of new requirements, preparation of bid and governance paperwork, review and negotiation of terms and conditions of contracts and agreements. Work with the Sales, Procurement and Finance organisation to advise on key contractual obligations and risks within the respective prime contracts, support supplier flow down and mitigation accordingly. Manage existing contracts in accordance with company procedures and contractual requirements, to ensure efficient and accurate performance of commercial activities, change management, prompt payment of invoices as well as effective claim and waiver management. Develop rapport/relationship with customers to ensure smooth running of existing contracts. Skills/Experience We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experie KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide market leading customer service and support to all SSGs customers. - Ensure PPM contract terms are current and in line with market. - Ensure all new PPM contracts for non-existing customers are raised within SLA, ensuring accuracy of detail. - Ensure all PPM contract renewal quotations are raised within SLA, ensuring accuracy of detail. - Ensure financial targets are met by working closely with the external sales team and progressing all outstanding PPM contract quotations. - Attend / Chair PPM contract review meetings. - Be the point of contact for all PPM contract enquiries. - Actively promote our additional services and products - Manage customer complaints and escalations. - Work with the service team leaders to improve customer satisfaction, service efficiency and business profitability. - Partner with sales teams providing key support in creating successful sales strategies and bids & tenders. - Focus on process improvement and implementing best practices within the Inside Sales function to position the company for continued growth. - Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. - Knowledge of sales training techniques and best practices is essential. - Proven experience of achieving personal sales targets, alongside the ability to build rapport easily with stakeholders at all levels. - Experience of accurately following business policies and procedures, working to best practices, and utilisation of CRM systems. - Forecast source of business to increase uptake; Contract Renewals, Expiring Warranties - Meet revenue targets and establish strategies to maximize opportunities. - Working with Service Contracts Administration, produce quotations / tenders and pricing agreements within given timescales RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS Supervisory - This position reports directly to the Customer Operations Manager Organization - Frequent contact with all levels in departments throughout SSG including Customer Services, Technical Services, Sales and Marketing. External Business - Contact with customers at all levels including consumers, installers, contractors and NHS Trusts. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - Proven customer service experience. - Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite. - The ability to work alone and unsupervised. - Motivated to achieve business targets. - Self-motivated decision maker. - Must be solution oriented. - Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience in Contracts Management. - Strong analytical skills / excel skills. - Demonstrated experience within the commercial field (Sales / Bidding / Procurement / Commercial)
