SF Recruitment are pleased to be working with a fast growing SME who operate in a niche manufacturing sector who are looking for a Management Accountant. This role will be essential to the business as you will complete the end to end accounts at month andyear end for submission to the company directors. The successful candidate will be someone with experience in a hands on role who is used to dealing with senior stakeholders on a regular basis. Experience is more important than qualifications for this role,as is the ability to work independently and be well organised to meet tight deadlines. You will have experience working in a similar role and have experience with Sage Accounting software. Role: - Prepare management accounts for the group for presentation in board meeting - Accruals, prepayments and journal posting - Balance sheet reconciliations - Quarterly VAT returns - Inputting, raising invoices and credit control - Complete monthly CIS returns - Complete year end accounts - Maintain fixed asset register - Liaise with auditors - Stock analysis - Project costing Requirements: - Accounting qualification desirable but not essential - Experience in a similar role - Strong communicator and organised - Good Excel skills - Sage 50 experience ideally
