Support WorkerLocation:Wirksworth and surrounding areasSalary:£10 per hour + £79 per stay overNew Year - New Job - An amazing and rewarding opportunityOur client provides support and outreach services for adults with learning disabilities and associated health needs, they have built up specialist expertise that enables them to provide quality support to adults with various needs.The company now has either a full-time position or part-time position for a support worker role for a 24 hr Supported Living House in the beautiful town of Wirksworth and the surrounding area (Supported living & Outreach services)Wirksworth is a Market town in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the stunning peak district. The area is very near both Derby (14 miles) and many surrounding Derbyshire towns Belper, Matlock, Ripley & Ashbourne all of which are between just 5-10 miles,and have great public transport links.The RoleThe position is to work with 4 female adults with learning disabilities & Autism who will have been living together for over ten years and to live life to the full!Experience of supporting people with a learning disability is desirable and they do ask that you are enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and share with them the belief that people should be treated with dignity, respect and be supported to live the livestheywantto.

  • Full training and induction will be given and the opportunity for developing skills and further qualifications in Health & Social Care.
  • The company offer contracted hours, No 0-hour contracts.
The company have positions available for full/part time will include daytime/evenings shifts, some weekends/bank holidays and sleep-ins.
