Job Description

Who we are, RGI services Ltd is a small and growing family company with a Sales Value Turnover of over £21 million. RGI has been established for 19 years, offering a professional and personal service to both customer and supplier, specialised in Sales and Marketing and dedicated to the UK and Irish Polymer and Materials market. Our supply partners are market leaders in their sectors, making the raw materials to be extruded and injection moulded for various applications (for example, cables, pipes, windows, gutters, fences, and bottles). Our Supply Partners include Delta Tecnic (colour), Beologic (Wood Polymer Composites) and Effegidi (Aluminium Polymer Laminates).We are seeking to recruit a Customer Services Administrator/Manager for our office in Wirksworth. Their tasks would be to proactively engage with our growing Customer Base, working together with our Field Sales Managers and Technical Sales Managers and liaising daily with our Supply Partners.The skills required for the job:

  • Ability to be a team player and work independently
  • Problem solving (cheerfully disposed to understand, anticipate, and gain satisfaction through satisfying customers, RGI colleagues and supply partners)
  • Competent IT user (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams…) and comfortable with video call and cloud storage platforms.
  • Proactive (always something to do)
  • Good communication - by telephone, email, and face to face
  • Empathy for people and situations
  • Timeliness in completing tasks
  • Foreign European language would be an advantage to support communication with production plants (English is used as standard, but a continental language such as French, Italian, or Spanish would be very useful)
  • Activities include:
  • Receiving and initiating telephone calls/e-mails to deal with matters as required by customers and/or suppliers adhering to RGI’s high standards of service
  • Pro-actively engage customer orders
  • Placing orders on production plants in France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium. (typically, we work in English with partners whose second language is English)
  • Communicating to customers progress of their order
  • Solving unforeseen operational difficulties (Manufacturing/Logistics/Financial)
  • Following up timely payment from customers
  • Reacting positively to pressure created by just in time (JIT) and the need to achieve high level delivery services in an industrial environment
  • Administration and office tasks related to a busy sales and marketing company (including forecasting, travel arrangements, meeting agendas and notes...)
  • Occasional visits to customers and/or production plants (suppliers)
  • Working with our external service providers (IT, HR Consultants & HS Advisors)
  • Creating promotional content for the website and ensuring it is updated on a regular basis (including Social Media platforms when applicable)
  • Assisting and Supporting Directors’ with ad-hoc projects and routine
  • We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible with interviews commencing on Monday 18th and Wednesday 20th January.Working hours typically from Mon- Fri 9.00 to 17.30.23 working days holiday (not in August + 3 compulsory at Christmas)Performance and achievement reviewSalary £25-35k negotiable depending on experience Required skills
