Job Description

The Project Planner will support and Engineering and Facilities Manager, ensuring all pre-planned maintenance is undertaken, with minimal impact on business operations.Key responsibilities will fall within the following areas:Project Management

  • Developing and implementing project plans for all new installations
  • Collaborating with all relevant parties when developing project plans
  • Ensuring all project plans are updated regularly
  • Carrying out post implementation reviews
Preventative Maintenance
  • Evaluating asset tactics for all equipment
  • Ensuring planned schedules of work have the buy in from all parties
  • Estimating labour and material resources required for each planned maintenance
  • Reviewing completed PPMs and corrective WO for follow up
Reporting
  • Monitoring effectiveness of PPM in relation to reducing downtime etc
  • Reviewing maintenance programme and systems with the Engineering Manager
  • Loading and maintaining CMS System
Communication
  • Interacting regularly with Operations and Engineering Teams at all levels
  • Producing weekly performance metrics
  • Producing short term maintenance schedule to met business needs and labour capacity
Continuous Improvement
  • Continually challenging and developing process flows and methods of operating
  • Participating in root cause analysis of equipment and facility issues
Essential skills and experience required:
  • Engineering qualification essential (degree level preferred)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Solid project management experience is essential
  • Ability to make decisions in a time pressured environment
The successful candidate will work a 40 hour week, with flexibility to cover weekend and evening project work if required.
