Job Description

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for several Production Operative on behalf our client in based on the Winsford Industrial Estate.Daily Duties include:

Responsible for the daily volume and quality of work allocated by Supervisor
Monitoring and maintaining production process to ensure finished products meet all relevant specifications
Ensure all production activities are monitored to minimise downtime and scrap
To perform quality checks on all parts being produced against the standard identified, ensuring any deviation to standard is reported to the appropriate person
Ensure all production administration is complete
To produce parts through the use of a variety of processes in line with production requirements as communicated through the lines of support, reporting any issues to the appropriate person

The ideal Production Operative will:

Organised and self-disciplined with regards to achieving targets, keeping own area organised and excellent timekeeping and attendance
Contributes positively towards the area objectives.
Has a positive attitude to change and improvement
Good communication skills
Demonstrates drive to complete tasks and has the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

The working hours for this Production Operative role are 4 on 4 off, rotating between 6am-6pm days and 6pm-6am nights.The hourly rate for this role is £10 per hour , with all breaks fully paid for.48 hour paid weekOvertime is paid at £15 per hour for any hours worked on a 5th or 6th shiftThis position is available with an immediate start
