Job Description

Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic conscientious Maintenance & Support Service Operative to join their friendly, hardworking Business Centre & Heritage Centre Teams.Maintenance & Support Service OperativeSalary: National Minimum WageHours: 24 per week Reporting to: Commercial Property Manager & Heritage Centre ManagerLocation: Across 2 sites: Annfield Plain and Winlaton MillAbout the charityThe charity works across the UK mobilising practical community action to poverty and the environment. They support communities so they are strong enough to shape their own destiny and everyone can reach their potential.About the roleThe successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the Trust premises as well as ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for tenants and visitors.Some of your duties will include locking and unlocking of Trust premises; security checks; assisting with meeting/conference set-up, clear down and service; Grounds maintenance, including landscaped areas, pond and car parks; dealing with contractors and suppliers as an when required; and carrying out general maintenance, repairs and decorating.About youThey are seeking someone who has experience in providing general maintenance & repairs whilst prioritising tasks so deadlines are met. You will have knowledge of health & safety good practice as well as understanding of manual handling safe practice.
