Project ManagerLocation: WiltonSalary: The salary banding is negotiable based on experience. Also, the company offer a market leading benefitspackage and annual bonus.Type: PermanentHours: Monday - FridayPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Project Manager is part of the Project Delivery Team managing projects from concept through sanction, design, execution, and commissioning. The role holder will be responsible for the successful delivery of each project ensuring all are completed ontime, within budget and to a high standard in a safe manner.RESPONSIBILITIESPositively encourage a culture of safety first.Determine and define project scope and objectives.Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.Track project costs in order to meet budget.Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.REQUIREMENTSExperience in power/utilities/petrochemical/oil&gas industriesStrong communication including writing reports, contractual correspondences, etcExcellent Negotiation SkillsStrong understanding of engineering principles.Strong understanding of Project management principlesIn depth knowledge and experience in development of project execution and contracting strategy of small to very large projects.Possesses superior organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlinesMethodological approachHigh Attention to detailStrong Problem solvingLeadershipWork as part of a team and individuallyCompetency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must.A full driving licence is required and a right to work in the UK is essential.DESIRABLEBachelors degree in any of the following engineering disciplines process/chemical/mechanical/piping/electrical.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredFor more information, please get in touch with Imperial Professionals ASAP
