Job Description

The Opportunity:A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Finance Business Partner to join an established and market leading industrial global business on Teesside.Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the forward profitability budget and forecast reporting;
  • Proactively interpret and analyse monthly figures, identify issues, and take ownership to resolve these with individual business managers and cost centre owners;
  • Present and explain financial results, forecasts and KPIs to a range of key stakeholders;
  • Analyse forecast versus budget for capital and maintenance spend across the UK to influence management of resource planning;
  • Post investment appraisals of capital projects across the business to make recommendations for future improvements;
  • Identify and track progress of plan to address lost gross margin opportunities;
  • Assess hedge decision making alongside hedging strategy, analysing the value added from trading forward/within day versus the market; and
  • Conduct financial assessments of new products and assess impact of integration into the business.
You will be/have:
  • Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA);
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Extensive FP&A experience including advanced Excel skills and BI
  • Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships as a trusted advisor
