Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling of all work related to project activities and direct responsibility for the completion of tasks relating to the relevant project/s adhering and encouraging a culture of safety first
• Update and maintain schedule data to ensure project consistency and optimisation
• Single point of contact for all project related planning tasks across multiple projects
• Ensure contractors provide resource schedules to ensure construction is completed on time and in budget
• Create and maintain project capital and non capital spending plan working with Contract Manager
• Create and maintain project financial justification
• Support the contract manager in the daily operations tasks
• Recognise and understand the requirements to make recommendations to project delivery
• Perform project progress monitoring duties including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecast and progress to date and future planning
• Identify schedule impacts arising from sourcing decisions
• Meet all project deadlines

Requirements:

• Technical background, preferably time served.
• Relevant planning skills.
• Ability to read and understand drawings.
• Good Safety awareness.
• Contractor management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Enhanced IT skills (Maximo, Microsoft project etc, primavera).
• Basic leadership qualities.
