Do you have experience of high voltage power systems, with the ability to teach this understanding to less experienced engineers If so, we could have the perfect role for you!We are looking for a High Voltage Lecturer / Senior Lecturer to join our client based at Wilton to pass their extensive experiences on through various electrical training courses.This is a temporary role with a view to becoming permanent after 1 year for the right candidate.Responsibilities:* Familiarise yourself with the current course material along with methods used for delivery* Lecturing within a classroom environment including the use of audio/visual aids including conducting tutorials* Organising individual candidate assessments by means of written examination papers, verbal questions, practical exercises and the ultimate compilation of assessment reports* Practical demonstration of and instruction to candidates in the safe and correct operation of various switchgear, transformers, motors, generators, cable systems and test equipment* Modification and development of course notes, tutorials and practical exercises* Assist other members of staff in the provision of marketing and sales services including liaising and meeting with clients, if required* Assist and advise management in the design, procurement and installation of electrical equipment for training purposes* Work on-site within the UK and overseas, which may be for continuous periods up to four to six weeks, and this may occur on more than one occasion per yearRequirements:* Relevant experience of operating and maintaining industrial High Voltage systems* Thorough knowledge and experience of industrial High Voltage switching authorisation and safety documentation* Knowledge and experience of protection of electrical power systems* Experienced with MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel* Excellent communication skills; written and verbal* Ability to explain concepts clearlyIf you are interested in this High Voltage Lecturer / Senior Lecturer role we look forward to hearing from you!
