As part of its expansion the company is recruiting a Warehouse operative for their distribution centre in Tamworth; if successfully recruited you will experience a first-rate working environment, free on-site parking and numerousother benefits.THE ROLEYou will be involved in:•Receiving and dispatching goods•Picking and loading customer orders•Stock control•Quality checks•Following company policies and procedures to ensure a high level of safety at all times•Ensuring all stock is correctly unloaded, checked and stored in the correct locations.THE CANDIDATE:You will have the following key skills:•Experience in a busy, high pick value warehouse•Knowledge of Schelling cutting saws would be ideal although not essential as full training will be given.•Fork lift licence essential•Good communication skills•Excellent H&S knowledgeThere will be no working weekends with this position and there is a shutdown over the Christmas period. This is a split shift. One week the hours are Monday to Friday 6am - 3pm and the next week you will work Monday to Thursday from 1pm till 10pm.This is an excellent organisation to work for.
