Job Description

Start Date: Immediate Pay: KR3 We are looking for an enthusiastic andinspirational teaching assistant to join our school to support our classes anddepending on the right candidate they could work as a key worker for pupilswith special educational needs. If you like the challenge of supportingchildren with their needs as well as being dedicated and passionateabout learning and teaching, then this could be the position for you. The role will include working within a class,supporting individuals and small groups (both within and outside theclassroom) to deliver our curriculum as well as interventions. The contractwill be only for the rest of this academic year (2020-2021), but this maybeextended. You will need to have a high level of English andMathematical skills and experience of improving outcomes for pupils bothacademically and emotionally. We are looking for someone who has a vast amountof experience in working with children. You will need to be adaptable andable to react quickly to any situation to support children in removing anybarriers to their learning. We are looking for people who are determined tosecure the absolute best for our pupils and will work hard to ensurechildren achieve everything they are capable of. You will need to be able towork from Monday to Friday during the school daily hours (8.30am-3:15pm),but the position may require being in school a bit before or slightly after toassist in sharing details with parents and carers. We are interested in appointing someone whohas experience in being a teaching assistant or a similar role. We are looking for someone who will:
