Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Local Business based in Essex, in their search for Chefs. The role is an exciting opportunity for a chef who has experience within the Public and Hospitality Sectors.Job Title: ChefLocation: Widdington, North EssexHours: Thursday - SundayStart Date: ASAPBasic salary - £35,000OTE -£40,000Bonus is based on a monthly GP target of 70% achieved with gross monthly food sales hitting £26,000 +We are a well established, family run village pub in a lovely supportive village near the historic market town of Widdington, North Essex. We have an amazing customer base of repeat guests that enjoy our fresh food offering the range from pub classics todishes that are well thought out and what both we and our guests consider a cut above the rest.We are looking for you to come on board and continue to maintain the high standards set by predecessors. Bring your own style to an autonomous position and develop and create as you enjoy. Your passion should be reflected in your menu design. The reward beinga fair basic salary and realistic and achievable gross profit bonus scheme.Post-Covid we chose to run the food offering from Thursday evening to Sunday, utilising each lunch and dinner service with multiple sittings in our 50 cover pub.We have a small team that start together on a Thursday, working hard as a unified team, through to closing on a Sunday evening.There is no front and back of house at the Fleur, just a group of people all striving to deliver a quality experience via our food and beverage offering in one of the friendliest, relaxed environments around. In the summer imagine one of the most peaceful pubgardens in the area, an array of blooming flowers, well spaced tables and the occasional horse passing the white picket fence, whilst in winter, think big Ingle nook fireplace, roaring fires, laughter and chatting, muddy boots, dogs and children, regularsand first time visitors enjoying fantastic ale and food that match the passion that shines from all the team. Delivering an experience through a mature, professional mind set.One big advantage of the role is the three days off a week it allows you. The kitchen is shut Mon-Wed and this offers a well deserved rest and down time for our kitchen team.The salary is competitive for the role and our location.
