Childrens Home Residential Support WorkerWe have a fantastic opportunity available for a Qualified level 3 Children & Young People - Childrens Residential Support Worker.About the job:You will be joining a leading specialist client who cater for supporting children within in a full time (LAC) looked after care - residential setting.We are looking for enthusiastic staff who have a passion for working with children and would like to help all children in care develop and nurture their life experiences. The home operates 24-hours each day, every day of the year, requiring round-the-clock staffing and management. RSWs are required to conform to appropriate standards of conduct at all times and to be mindful that they serve as important role models to the childrenin their care. The home provides solo and dual residential placements for young people with complex emotional and behavioural issues and is based in Whitefield, Greater Manchester.What would I be doing RSWs are required to provide care and support to children in the 8 to 17 age range. The full-time shift pattern is a 24-hour shift, including sleeping-in overnight. RSWs typically work two-three full shifts per week, including shifts on the weekends.
