About usWe have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a Personal Lines Customer Sales Advisor to join our growing, successful team here at NFU Mutual Ipswich Agency based at our site in the beautiful countryside of Wherstead, Ipswich.As a local agency of NFU Mutual we deliver a first-class service and sell the NFU Mutual product range across our region, to customers old and new, who are at the core of everything we do. We champion the personal approach to customer service that NFU Mutual are famous for.The RoleWe aim to provide a world class customer service, and as a Customer Sales Advisor this means being responsible for:

  • Proactively pursuing sales opportunities and dealing with Personal Lines customer sales enquiries
  • Referring financial service leads to our Financial Adviser
  • Establishing customer needs so you can help them with solutions from our product range
  • Process mid-term adjustments and inviting renewals
  • Working as part of a team to achieve financial targets through selling and servicing of products
  • Supporting team members in their activities
About YouWe are looking for a new colleague with a "can do attitude" and positive energy, who will:
  • Demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients
  • Be a proficient IT user with good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be a problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team with a positive can-do attitude
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks
  • Hold a minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math’s and English (or equivalent)
  • Have the ability and desire to learn new systems, products, processes and skills
