A great local opportunity to join this thriving construction business as Project Quantity Surveyor. Working alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the procurement of sub-contractors, preparationand submission of external applications for payment, agreement of Client variations, valuation and agreement of sub-contractor accounts. You will also assist with the preparation of CVR reports, and the preparation and submission of monthly profit and lossreports.Other duties will include but not be limited to:

Preparing Bills of Quantities
Issuing of sub-contractor tender enquiries
Evaluation of sub-contractor quotations
Convening and attending meetings
Preparing formal sub-contract Agreements
Site measurement of building works undertaken
Valuation and payment of sub-contractor interim accounts
Preparing and agreement of external Applications for Payment

The Successful Applicant: You will be degree educated in Quantity Surveying with experience of working as a number one Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor on new build projects of a minimum value of £10m. You will be a confident communicatorand have excellent technical knowledge of construction operations across a number of key sectors which could include residential, student accommodation, health, education, retail and commercial.
