Job Description

Job briefWe are looking for a Nanny / Parent Support to join one of our clients and provide excellent childcare within their busy lives. The three children are aged between 11 and 15 and the role requires good planning, a bit of juggling and a flexible approach totasks.As a Nanny, youll take care of the children, supporting with taking them to school on certain days, and picking them up and taking to other extracurricular and sporting activities/clubs. These may include attending matches or events across the Northwest.You will keep them safe, plan meals for them and help with general chores, including shopping, dry cleaning and an element of housekeeping.If you love working with children and feel comfortable handling the less appealing tasks, such as making beds and assisting with tidying up childrens rooms, wed like to meet you.Ultimately, youll reassure the parents that, even when theyre not around, their children remain in a safe hands.Hours: Full time role to include some early starts and later finishes, Monday to Friday then from time to time at weekends.Whilst it is full time role, you will be busier on some days and less busy on others and will be given time off throughout the day.Requirements and skills

Previous experience as a Nanny, Babysitter or proven related experience
Excellent understanding of childrens needs and behaviours
Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate, converse with or engage the children
Multitasking skills
A pleasant and patient personality
Availability to work in flexible shifts, early mornings, in the evenings, occasionally full days and the odd weekend
A full driving licence & car owner is essential
First aid certification is a plus
DBS background checks will be carried out
