Reporting directly to the CFO our Senior Business Analyst will be a key part of the Finance Team and will work closelywith the Chief Revenue Officer to materially impact the organisations ability to scale and grow at pace. The role will be based in our modern and vibrant Warrington office. The Business Analyst role will suit somebody with experience working in a SaaS company,who is passionate about data analytics and providing insights to help the business achieve growth plans.Senior Business AnalystResponsibilities - Identifying key business data points and preparing industry standard SAAS metrics- Preparing analysis of functional areas and providing concise business commentary on derived insights. Delivering effective reporting dashboards enabling the business to self-serve on simple insights.- Identifying business challenges and opportunities and providing data-driven recommendations.- Identifying key trends, key data points, risks and opportunities across all our business data leading to tangible business improvements.- Presenting to the board to help shape and drive key business decisions.- Supporting the Chief Revenue Officer and business development team with key information around sales data including product demos, conversions and sales pipeline.- Analysing spend and product use across customer accounts to identify trends or risks.- Analysing marketing spend and conversion metrics to help drive strategy.- Liaising with Heads of department and providing them with tools and data insights to best manage their departments including ad-hoc analysis projects.- Ensuring that data is integrated across the business, including management of data from Salesforce, Pardot, Sage, Talos and other business systems where applicable.- Filtering and "cleaning" data to ensure data is consistent, aggregated, reliable and usable.Senior Business AnalystRequired Skills - Proven and extensive experience of Salesforce CRM and CPQ systems- Advanced SQL ability- Proven track record of manipulating large data sets and creating commentary which brings insight to the data- Effective story telling skills and the ability to communicate complex insights succinctly to both technical and non-technical audiences- Commercial acumen and understanding of the key drivers of success for a SaaS business- Strong numeric skills and attention to detail- Experience in driving and introducing effective data management practices and getting stakeholder buy-in- An open-minded, flexible and positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to embrace new technologies and business change- Experience with Pardot, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Azure is advantageous- Experience within a SaaS business is desired although not essential.- An understanding of key metrics important to a SaaS business.In return for your passion, commitment and expertise our Business Analyst role offers a competitive base salary and the chance to work with a vibrant, collaborative team who are obsessed with customer journey and product.
