Job SpecificationPosition: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: SkelmersdaleSalary: NEG / DOEHours: Monday - FridayRoleTo actively promote and sell spare parts across the complete range of HPU systems and Purifiers.The procure the necessary parts to satisfy the demand for the spare parts and components business.To provide regular updates to the customers on order progress.Promote the spares opportunities both internally and externallyWork with the engineering team to develop recommended spares lists.Price spares in accordance with company policy.Place purchase orders to support the spares requirements (working with Production control team.)Duties

Promote through all channels the spares offering
Support the KR / BB sales efforts
Provide accurate and timely quotations with prompt follow up actions.
Identify demand and place PO for parts if necessary
Identify and issue pick lists to drive shipments
Work closely with engineering, external sales, procurement.
Sales administrator is direct report.
Utilise Sage particularly tendering, SOP and MRP
Maintain the open enquiries data base ensuring prompt follow up.

Qualifications & SkillsEssential

Maths and English GCSE
Engineering qualification - at least level 3

Desirable

Hydraulics qualification would be an advantage
Sales qualification would be an advantage.
