Fantastic opportunity has arisen due to extra workload and growthfor a leading manufacturing company. This company offer an excellent package including competitive pay, company pension and Healthcare package.Hours are Monday - Thur 7.45 - 5pm and Friday 8-1pmThe factory supervisor is responsible to the Manufacturing Manager and the Production Director. The duties and responsibilities are highlighted below:1. Assist the manufacturing manager in the daily manufacturing operations.2. Supervising factory operatives in their daily tasks, including allocating work stations, ensuring good time keeping, meeting production targets, ensure goods produced meet the required quality specifications, ensure production dates are met, updating production records, ensuring the factory is clean and tidy at all times.3. Assist in organising production achieve maximum throughput at a lowest cost by controlling raw materials, labour, wastage, and manufacturing plants.4. A continuing commitment to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality system and ISO 14001 Environmental system.5. To ensure and adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.6. To undertake any other duties as requested by senior management.Desired Candidate Profile:1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.2. Minimum of 2 year’s working experience in a broadly similar factory environment.3. Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.4. Strong ability to communicate well and have good leadership skills.5. Reliable and punctual.6. Willing and able to learn new skills and be enthusiastic to strive for continuous improvements.7. Have basic knowledge to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.8. Have good knowledge on how to handle difficult and challenging conversations9.
