Working with a market leading manufacturer, Premier Work Support have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to work at a flagship site in West Molesey. The right candidate is required to design and maintain all aspects of electrical requirements, maintain standards and regulatory directives; for fan coils, door curtains, heating and ventilation equipment & assemblies in accordance with the brands product development roadmap. Provide electrical engineering support to the manufacturing process & supply chain. To assist with After Sales Support & Production EngineeringImprove the companys products and processes and contribute to its overall growth.Candidate requirements:Preferred minimum recognised qualification of HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering.Hold current electrical qualification covering electrical standards.This position will be suited to an experienced electrical design engineer, primarily dealing with BACnet controls and associated peripheral devices; and general switchgear interface components.Product ranges dealing with Low Voltage to > 30kW 3-phase systems.Solid background in Engineering, including all areas of manufacturing and engineering design.Software skills to both develop and support the assigned manufacturing processes as well as product support. Proficiency at troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Familiarity with implementing robust manufacturing processes for precision mechanical or electronic products.Proficient at leading small teams to eliminate waste in manufacturing and support processes, and continuously improve.Basic financial knowledge of business systems. Basic knowledge and management skills to assist small groups of production workers and technicians.Familiar with the assembly process.Health & Safety, recycling awareness. Duties include:Design and develop electrical products in line with requirements and ensure they comply with the relevant/latest regulations.Develop product electrical architecture.Evaluate the efficiency of electrical systems, machinery, components and products.Apply knowledge of electricity to design testing methods for different systemsUnderstand design specifications and technical drawings Assure product quality by conducting thorough and reliable tests.Research/test manufacturing methods and materials Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to create technical plans.Support day to day electrical bias operational requirements.Monitor products and improve on future designs.This is a permanent opportunity and the salary will be between £35,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
