About the opportunity:We are working as an internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry.Due to recent success and growth, a great new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their new, state of the art facility in West Horndon.As a successful Senior Quality Engineer, you will maintain and develop a proactive business management system aligned with business objectives.Working collaboratively with your team and internal stakeholders you will monitor, test and report on the quality of products and processes, whilst formulating robust quality assurance policies and procedures. You will have a natural talent for identifyingtechnical problems and eliminate them from the core process.As the Quality Engineer you will investigate nonconformities and customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis, utilising your problem-solving skills and recommending actions to improve quality and efficiency.You will also support with the inspection of products entering the business against quality regulations and company standards, identifying deficiencies and anomalies and co-ordinating the corrective action required.If you have previous experience as a Quality Systems Engineer within the aerospace aftermarket, with knowledge of aerospace component specifications and the associated documentations, then we want to hear from you!RequirementsWho we are looking for:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within the Aerospace sector, specifically the Aerospace Aftermarket.
Hold an Engineering or Quality Assurance Qualification / Degree.
Knowledge and worked with ISO quality management standards with a minimum of ISO 9001 knowledge but ideally AS9100 and / or AS9120
Previous auditing experience.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Good knowledge of quality management techniques and system requirements.
Knowledge of the associated certification with aircraft parts.
An affective problem solver with knowledge of root cause analysis tools.
Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Word, MS Office.
Proven ability to positively communicate with colleagues and customers to form and maintain good teamworking relationships.
Organisation, time management, prioritising skills, and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
