Job Description

Reed is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee a small team of tyre fitters and ensure the smooth functioning of our warehouse in the wheel/tyre industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managingand coordinating logistics for both national and international customers, maintaining a secure work environment, and upholding high-quality standards.The Role:Inventory Management: Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of wheels and tyres within the warehouse. Implement and maintain accurate inventory control systems. Conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and optimize fitting/dispatch processes. Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Health & Safety (H&S) Management: Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training sessions for warehouse staff. Investigate and address any safety concerns promptly.Quality Management: Maintain quality control measures for incoming and outgoing products. Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure compliance with industry standards. Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and preventrecurrence.Team Leadership: Supervise and lead warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture to enhance productivity.Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes for efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation and implement relevant technologies. Streamline workflows to reduce lead times and enhance overall productivity.Communication: Ensure clear communication and sharing of information with the Administration and Senior Management Team.Key Skills:

Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and quality management systems in a production setting.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.
Experience as a Warehouse Manager in the wheel/tyre industry or a similar field is an advantage but not essential.
MS Office essential.
Management Experience is preferable.
