Job Description

Debt Controller in West Hallam, Ilkeston, DerbyshireWe have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our clients West Hallam, Ilkeston based Fleet Accounts team in the role of a Debt Controller!What Will You Be DoingMain responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Producing daily vehicle spreadsheets and chasing debt daily
  • Maintaining fair relationships with Fleet customers and manufacturers
  • Chasing manufacturer debt
  • Ensuring customers do not exceed credit limits and payment terms
  • Specific balance sheet reconciliations
  • Completing bad debt reporting
  • Attending and contributing to weekly debt meetings
Who Are We Looking forThe successful candidate will have:
  • Excellent and confident communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Strong Excel/Data Inputting skills

  • An excellent eye for detail.

Previous Motor Trade and credit control experience would be advantageous for this role.Salary/Benefits:
  • Up to £25,000 per annum
