Job Description

Job: Accountant- Full Time - PermanentLocation: West Hallam, Ilkeston, DerbyshireSalary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience + Benefits + Bonus as per Group PayplanWorking Hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.Are looking to join an automotive company that has 47 franchise dealerships representing 12 varied brands, 23 locations with that are enjoying year-on-year growth, fantastic learning and development opportunities, recognition & reward, then we would liketo speak to you!The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Consolidating and analysing weekly business unit forecasts and trends.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial information reported to head office within company deadlines.
  • Providing robust management information and analysis to support the month results.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reviewing funding and Year End Audit information
  • Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial business plan.
  • Managing a team of Accounts & Administration team members
RequirementsYou will need to have hands-on/practical experience in:
  • Working on and finalising annual budgets
  • Completing year-end audits
  • Month end accounting
  • Financial control systems
  • Managing a team
  • Processing payroll information
  • Providing support to the Admin and Accounts team including their development
  • Experience in using Kerridge is a distinct advantage for this role.
  • Month end accounting
Previous experience working within the Motor Trade would be an advantage however not essential as full training will be provided.Benefits
