Job Description

Senior Project Manager - to join a steel specialist company operating across the UK and internationally. The company is renowned for safely delivering high-profile work, including collaborative projects like the London Olympic Stadium Transformation. Areclient utilises high-quality offsite fabrication, and highly skilled on-site teams to deliver a multitude of different projects from Rail, Highways, Aviation and Bespoke Projects.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in managing and delivering a range of different projects but Aviation and Structural Steel experience is preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to be a apart of agrowing business and be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered correctly as per the clients requirements.Senior Project Manager Position Remuneration

Senior Project Manager Position Overview

Manage and deliver projects based in West London
Deal with clients in order to ensure the clients requirements and specifications are met
Build a London based team to help grow this side of our clients business
Read and interpreting technical drawings to gain an understanding of requirements
Allocate processing routes for products to be fabricated
Support the Estimating team to generate quotations and follow up with the client
Regular liaison with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth running of projects
Overall financial control and appraisal of each project
Build and develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business

Senior Project Manager Position Requirements

Prior experience working as a PM for a main contractor
Willing to commute around West London and to Heathrow
Ideally have Aviation and Structural Steel experience
Must have Project Management experience within the steel fabrication industry
Strong understanding of various steel infrastructure systems such as: bridges, gantries, piles, plate girders, steel frames, and steel structures
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience managing relationships with end users and main contractors
Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
Effective time management, leadership and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
