Job Description

Reed Secure is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutions for security cleared professionals.We require a Digital Content Officer to cover an existing workload within Metropolitan Police, based in Empress State Building (Hybrid working).This is an interim position for an initial 6 months with the potential to be extended, dependent on workload.Job Purpose:

This role has been created to lead on all aspects of Data in relation to the implementation of the Met Shared Services (MSS) Programme.
The role, a member of the MSS programme Data & Solutions Pillar, will be primarily responsible for the delivery of the data strategy, data remediation and data transformation work required for the implementation of Met Shared Services.
The MSS Programme will be delivering a new shared services capability for the MPS, a new SAAS based ERP and a new BPO Outsourcing contract for transactional services.

Skills and experience needed to be successful in this role:

Some experience (+2 years) working on communications projects with evidence demonstrating your impact and involvement.
Interest and good understanding of digital communications and how they can be used to best effect.
Awareness of the role of audience insight and research in planning communications activity.
Good understanding of various communication formats, using that knowledge to choose the right approach.
Ability to look ahead and plan activity, keeping in mind wider context and organisational activity.
Experience in producing high quality content for different audience groups, purpose and formats.
Understanding of the importance of evaluation and the practical application of lessons learned to improve communications activity.
Confidence and enthusiasm to put forward new ideas and suggest innovative approaches, based on wider awareness of the latest communication developments.
Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders of all levels and to express ideas and views persuasively.
Committed to self-improvement, with an enthusiasm for Learning & Development, and a desire to contribute to wider team and network initiatives.
Willing to play your part and support others in times of crisis, including working under pressure.
Interest in the application of behavioural science to communications.
Awareness of the use of analytical tools and data to improve communications.
