The role will be based in a CCTV control room and will involve the monitoring of traffic flows, traffic management, breakdowns and accidents, liaising with other contractors and authorities including the Emergency Services and Highways England. Operating in small teams you will be working 12-hour day/night shifts on a 4 off 4 on pattern with the possibility of extra day or night shifts.The job requires a 6 till 6 working shift including weekends, bank holidays and Christmas/New Year.Experience in a CCTV-monitoring role would be preferred, however in-house training shall be given to the right candidates.Applicants must be reliable, punctual, hard working and enthusiastic with the ability to record and relay information accurately, and have basic computing skills.Full UK Driving Licence and own transport would be a significant advantage, CSCS card is not a requirement for this position, although it would also be an advantage.We operate a stringent Drugs and Alcohol Policy and testing prior to and during employment will be mandatory.This role has a start date of 29th April 2020. This maybe delayed due to COVID-19 although we are still planning to go ahead with strict distancing and hygiene standards as recommeded by the UK goverment and the UK public Health department. With this in mind our client may delay the start date as they see fit.
