Job Description

Picking

Goods Out

Logistics

Management of the Picking, Goods Out and Logistics teams and functions, aligning space and resource against the requirements of the business and operation.Ensuring that outbound orders and deliveries are scheduled, picked and distributed to meet KPI’s.Collaboration with Commercial and Implementation teams regarding late changes, delivery discrepancies and remedies.Responsible for the management of subcontract, LSP 3PL freight suppliers and Group 4PL control tower.Be a prominent and vocal member of the H&S committee, designing and managing execution of H&S SOP’s.Management reporting against key KPI’s.Key Accountabilities:

Picking schedule

Outbound delivery schedule

Outbound QC

Picking efficiency and RFT accuracy

Goods Out lane management and efficiency

Loading vehicles to schedule and on time in full deliveries

Logistics management, coordination and interface with LSP 3PL and Group 4PL control tower

POD management and on time availability

H&S SOP’s for areas of responsibility

You wil have

Relevant experience in a fast-moving, high throughput manufacturing and fulfilment environment.

Understanding of linked operations such as Purchasing and Manufacturing.

Understanding and experience of ERP and WMS systems.

Demonstratable experience of team building and management.

Experience in an Export distribution environment.
