Accounts Payable ExecutiveCompetitive Salary Wentworth, SurreyThe RoleDo you possess an all-round knowledge of Accounts Payable and general ledger accounting Do you have project management skills to support a complex environment with multiple deliverables in the pipeline If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.The European Tour group, are looking to appoint an Accounts Payable Executive, for a 18 months FTC, to be responsible for enabling the smooth running of the Accounts Payable function. You will work with the Head of Treasury, Tax, and Regulatory & Fin Opswith the aim of creating an AP/Treasury function which is agile, lean, and forward thinking, whilst ensuring the PGAET Group is compliant, in line with the Board Risk Appetite.Simplification and system solutions will be at the core of everything we do to drive efficiency and effectiveness, thus reducing costs.Key Responsibilities:The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Executive include, but are not limited to:Internal Stakeholders:

• Support all Players and Suppliers payment
• Liaise with the business and the other Finance departments to ensure the Payable process runs smoothly and complies with procedures and standards
• Liaise with the business on expense recharges and any other ad hoc recharges

External Stakeholders:

• Enable the Payables & Players function by liaising with Players & Suppliers to resolve payment queries and building a rapport
• Prepare an annual reconciliation of all membership income for the external auditors including entry fees, fines, membership revenue and qualifying school entry fees
• Create annual finance packs for players together liaising with the Tax Department
  • Support external audits as and when required

Deliverables:

• Pay Invoices in a timely and accurate manner in line with agreed standards
• Ensure VAT and FX postings are correct by liaising with the appropriate department
• Ensure POs are accurately matched
• Meet Internal KPIs on turnaround time, cash outflows and accuracy
• Carry out Customer Account reconciliations
• Carry out Bank accounts/ledger matching
• Support the Financial Operations Manager and the Financial Accountant in the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for all Payables & Players affected accounts
• Players specific:
  • Process and reconciling all membership fees for the year
  • Process entry fees for tournaments
  • Process weekly tournament prize funds payments
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required
• Provide any necessary support schedules and reconciliations for the month end review
• Internal Controls
  • Operator for assigned Internal Controls
  • Reconcile all Players tournament entry fees on a weekly basis to ensure all revenue is captured
  • Reconcile the Players credit card income weekly to ensure all transactions are processed accordingly

• Experience in a fast paced/complex environment
• The ability to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines without compromising accuracy
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills and able to build rapport
• Previous experience in working with multiple currencies and VAT regimes
• Proven results in Payables environment
