Job Description

They provide a greatworking environment, the offices are modern and clean and filled with a dynamic and positive workforce.THE ROLE: The main purpose of the role will be to maintain company logistics, warehousing and stock control, reporting to the Production Lead.KEY DUTIES:

  • Booking in received items and carrying out quality inspections.
  • Completing documentation, including notification of deliveries to purchasing department.
  • Assisting with loading / unloading.
  • Preparing and planning goods out.
  • Ensuring goods are packed securely ready for despatch.
  • Working with the Operations Coordinator to produce shipping documentation ensuring goods are transferred to couriers in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Organising all shipments in line with company requirements.
  • Maintaining weighing equipment and packing material ready for use.
  • Conducting monthly stocktake KPIs and supporting / conducting annual stocktakes with direction from the Finance team.
  • Maintaining adequate and appropriate stock levels, inclusive of all consumables and packing materials.
  • Supporting procurement setting of min / max stock levels.
  • Kitting of assemblies for the shop floor in line with operations planning requirements.
  • Own requisition system for production placing orders.
  • Ensuring the correct storage of goods.
  • Physical allocation of parts.
  • Kitting goods in a controlled safe manner in accordance with procedure.
  • Issuing of parts to workstations.
  • Maintenance of system data requirements and ensuring integrity at all times.
THE CANDIDATE:
  • Experience working within a warehouse environment.
  • Good IT skills - able to operate a computer and update various systems.
  • Driving licence essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of stock control systems & tools- if you have used an ERP System this would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to train, and develop
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Forward thinker.
  • People person/interrelationship skills.
