Job Description

Juice Recruitment is thrilled to be supporting a professional accountancy practice in East Bristol with their search for a Payroll Manager.This is an exciting, full-time, permanent role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients to deliver a comprehensive, professional and client focused service. Due to natural expansion and a growing client base, this is a great time to join the practice.As Payroll Manager you will be responsible for working closely with the Accounts Manager, and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.Key duties will involve:

  • Assisting the payroll department
  • Preparation of monthly CIS returns
  • Assisting the accounts department with year-end accounts preparation
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Liaising with clients, both face to face and over the phone
    • The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or qualified by experience. You will have excellent payroll and CIS tax knowledge and exemplary client facing skills. You will be organised and thorough in your work and have a strong work ethic. Ideally, you will have had some experience with BrightPay and Superpay, although this is not essential.Our client is offering an excellent benefits package, including a starting salary of £20,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience), annual performance and salary review, free parking, pension scheme, regular individualised CPD paid for and arranged by the firm, clear career progression and flexible working hours, 37.5 hour-week.If this sounds like the next step in your career path and you would like to know more, please apply to Freya at Juice Recruitment!
