Job Description

Reed Finance isworking with a forward thinking, family run business based in Warmley.(t/o £20,000,000) recruiting for a Financial Controller.

This is a hands-on role where you will take responsibility forfinancial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.You will advise Directors on financial plans and associated risk, as well asmanaging and developingthe finance team.Responsibilities include:
  • Managing, training and developing the Finance team of 4.
  • Completion of control account reconciliations and finance pack.
  • PreparingCashflow and Profit and Loss forecasts to support decision making.
  • Assisting with pricing strategies in multiple areas.
  • Preparingfinancial business cases for a range of operational decisions.
  • Preparingmonth end account journals including prepayments, accruals, payroll, rebates, depreciation and adhoc stock adjustments.
  • Overseeing Key Supplier and Customer Invoices uploads to Sage.
  • Overview and review of the monthly management accounts including preparation of Key Headlines and presentation of these to Directors.
  • Preparation and overview of specific working capital requirements.
  • Preparingmonthly Project Profitability analysis. Present key findings in monthly Project review meeting with Directors.
  • Business partner with key personnel in the business. Working through financial dashboardsto assist and influence cost efficiencies and improvements to financial performance.
  • Process improvement for the Finance department as well as highlighting wider process improvements across the organisation.
