Reed have partnered with a long standing, family run national supplier based in Warmley, South Glos with the exciting new hire of a Commercial Manager to join them on their continued growth.This opportunity will be a great role for a people manager, who’s had experience of leading a team made up of many departments.You’ll be looking after a small team made up of 4 customer service advisors, 4 internal salespersons, 1 admin and 1 marketing member of staff.Primary responsibility will be to guide, coach and support the overall team in view of hitting the overall company figures. Each person and role are a hugely important cog in the wheel that combined, are able to provide an outstanding service to their customersacross Bristol and wider parts of the UK including West Wales, up to Birmingham and into London. All colleagues within the business are incentivised with a companywide performance bonus paid out every couple of months, therefore all are singing from the samehymn sheet on the task at hand to work hard and earn well collectively.The customers are really varied, some of which are end users such as education settings, commercial businesses, standard one-off purchases, and also trade sellers.As mentioned within this role, everyone within the business is incentivised with regular bonuses based on the company performance (gross profit) and also earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT). Therefore, giving you scope to really be incentivised foryour hard work and efforts in leading this fantastic team and ensuring your customers are being provided with the best service and products in your sector.It is key for this role that you have the following skills/experience:Leadership experience – Open on size of teamCommercially minded – What can we do next, where can we capitalise on new business/increased customCustomer service oriented, ensuring customers are taking care of providing the highest level of service, products and dispatch timesExperience of guiding, coaching, 1-1’s, recruitment, training and other managerial dutiesAbility to see opportunities for the businessLead from the front with new ideas and suggestions to keep things fresh for the team and business
