The NSG Group is a global leader in glass manufacturing in three business areas: Architectural, Automotive and Technical Glass.Our mission is to be the global leader in innovative high-performance glass and glazing solutions, working safely and ethically.We are now seeking a Regional Manager to join our Aftermarket Wholesale business and undertake all commercial and operational requirements, for both the Glasgow branch and region. You will aim to maximise customer satisfaction and branch performance acrossa range of disciplines, including Health & Safety, Cost to Serve and Employee Development, whilst striving to achieve continued improvement with a Value-Added approach to outstanding customer service.Being a role model in your attitude towards Health & Safety activities, you will continuously develop a safe working environment and culture amongst employees, in order to deliver the safety standards set by the Company. You will identify training requirementsfor employees to ensure the highest possible standards of customer service are maintained and implement succession and talent plans, carrying out regular one-to-one sessions. Providing support to other UKW operations as required, you will improve businesswith current customers and identify new opportunities. You will identify and lead any site improvement projects agreed by the business and ensure that sites are run within the cost budget as set by the UKW Operations.This role would suit someone who has a pro-active, positive and challenging view on service quality and someone with a strong understanding and commitment to the right first time principles. Youll have strong interpersonal, communication and presentationskills and be able to interact in both written and verbal format with employees, managers, suppliers and customers. With a strong customer focus and experience in driving forward change, you will have strong analytical skills and be able to identify patternsin performance data.Previous automotive or glass industry experience would be advantageous, but it not essential, as would experience of people management.Due to the nature of role, a full UK driving licence is required.Benefits
