Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specializing in Service in our Distribution Business Segment in Scotland.This is a permanent contract working day shift, Monday to Friday.Salary is £39,000 depending on skills and experience.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • To carry out troubleshooting, repairs and overhaul on a range of on all Cummins products from mid-range to High HorsePower product for markets including; On-Highway, Off-Highway, Industrial, Marine and Powergen.
  • These duties will be undertaken on Customer sites but at times, this will be also required in our workshops and due to the nature of the role there will be some working away from home where needed.
  • Working to documented service procedures Cummins published SRT (Standard repair times) and completing all work and documentation on time and to a high standard using the electronic tools provided (Guidanz, ANVL etc).
  • Support local Branch in our various local CIT projects throughout the year.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Significant field service work experience.
  • Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred).
